Divine Youth

Have I just missed the thread for this song ?? I'm a sucker for a delicate female vocal but what a cracking tune. Has to be the most achingly sad song written about a t-shirt.

Someone tweeted at me and said this was the weakest track on the album. I disagree.

It's almost Portishead like melody and vocal delivery, without the beats. Personally, I love the simple descending arpeggio like three notes that end the verses. Very pretty.

I love this song apart from the synth-string-stab sound. It's a sound I've always hated, and here it distracts.

Otherwise, gorgeous.
