Well, today it's 30 years since we lost Richey to the endless void. Thirty.

'Disappeared' never sounds like the right word - too glib, too newspaper-y. Perhaps we should just say 'embarked on a solo career'. I can imagine a little wry Edwards smile at that.

As I get older, he seems so terribly young. Raise a glass of the good stuff tonight, kids.

Man, I remember it being 'just a few years ago', how time flies eh.

I understand what you mean about him seeming young, I'm 40 this year and the person I had on my bedroom wall and read about in books and watched on TV was in his early to mid twenties.

Also, I have to admit, as time goes on I feel more and more for what his family went through. It must have been hell.

Eh, I'm in my mid 30s, but I agree with that sentiment.
All of them just look like babies now in those old photos.

And I was so, sooooo young when I looked up to them and admired them. The fact I couldn't even speak English back then would add a charming veil of mystery.

It just looks to me like Sean doesn’t come out of the zone or head space he’s in. He looks in the same directions even when James is facing front…
