How long is the queue at the moment?
Also, if I go down the front will I be able to make it back to the train station for the 2320 back to Newport? I'm torn between experience and a copy of Motown Junk. I'm leaning more towards experience. You can't buy that on eBay. |

Right, I'm heading out to the CIA in a minute. Dark green officer's jacket, white Thor t-shirt, dark blue jeans, Batman converse. If you see me why not stop and say hello? (because I'm far too shy and socially awkward to approach anyone myself ).
Regards, Marwood.

Late I know but it's looking highly doubtful I can get to the gig now :'(
Anyone in the Wolves area want 2x standing tickets? Face value and a 7" in return?!

I'm headed in now. I should be joining the queue around half past. Is it particuarly long yet?

There's not actually much of a queue just yet, maybe a dozen. I'm suddenly very aware that I've forgotten to eat or drink in about 10 hours and wondering if there's a McDonalds or something nearby

Hope everyone has a great time tonight! I was going to swing by the queue today but sadly academic work has got in the way and i've been confined to the library and my desk all day. if anyone's going out afterwards i can recommend welsh club (clwb ifor bach) which is off womanby street (up past vodka revs near the castle) pop on ground floor, rock on first floor and indie on top floor with either one pound or one pound fifty (cant remember which) bottles of fosters and shots of tequila! livelounge (near the hilton hotel) is open until four and you can get wine there for a quid and the dj will pretty much play anything so go request some manics! if you've got a bit more cash to spare then ten feet tall is a good place as well (next to a pasty shop near the owain glyndwr pub) - does some nice cocktails and you get a bit more of a respectable crowd in there compared to live lounge.
its a match night so expect everywhere to be rammed to the rafters with drunkards. oh and if anyone's getting there way early and wants a quiet drink the student pubs in cathays are likely to be a bit less full than the ones in town. the woodville near colum rd (and near lidl) is v studenty and is about a 20 minute walk to the cia. koko gorrilaz and gassy jacks near miskin street (cps homes place nearby) are good bets too and a similar distance. the pen and wig is closer to town and you'll find it on parks grove off salisbury road. HAVE FUUUUN GUYS! Dont do anything I wouldnt do and exercise extreme caution if doing the things i would do. |

venue is filling up nicely, don't think I'm going to go the distance on the barrier this time! They're not limiting the Motown Junk vinyl either, so I'm guessing there'll be plenty showing up on eBay tomorrow
Regards, Marwood.
