They're not gonna have the same momentum that they would have had 10 years ago. It's just the way it is sadly! It'll probably sell better over time than people rushing out to buy it in a week or two.

hopefully they'll give it a bit of a push with some advertising in a month or so when people start doing Christmas shopping. it is an excellent set at a decent price, after all.

maybe they should have released it a bit later, ie. end of November. Isn't that the prime time for greatest hits as people start buying christmas presents then. by that stage now everyone will have forgot about NT and promo will have dried up. although i suppose they wanted it released with plenty of time for the gig. but still! i still haven't bought it oops

I've finally received my deluxe edition from HMV (only took 14 days...). The reason I ordered it there instead of play.com was because they had the special offer with the free CD single, which I did NOT receive.
I just called them and they said they are going to send it to me.
If I remember correctly this happened to at least another one of you. Did it get sorted out smoothly, or...?

A fornight-late review from a reviewer who saw the promo still sitting on the desk and thought fuck it.

i like how the review just stops short of calling them class traitors and sell-outs. nice dig at the end.

it's the Socialist Worker. in their eyes we are all equal so it got 10/10 and 0/10 at the same time.

It was probably a much longer review but the Politburo will have edited it to make it better for the masses.

We watched the dvd the other night for the first time. Now i was a little pissed, but it did look like the picture quality in general was a bit off. A little blurry.

I also realised that i had never seen the videos for Empty Souls and Indian Summer.

Having watched the DVD a few times I've noticed how James tends to 'overact' his miming when he has to shout, From Despair, Little Baby and Everything must Go are 3 that spring to mind

I've only got the CD, is the DVD worth getting? Is there anything on it that I wouldn't already have seen on youtube?
