A Much better balanced setlist.

Cheers, I knew it was from the same album as 'Speed of Life', and checked after Manchester, but forgot to say so here.

One the strangest gigs I've ever been to. Lots of open mouthed crowds - no movement or anything. Seeing a load of people my age with no idea what the holy bible songs were - let alone Enola/Alone???? Shame as I was looking forward to this one. Oh well onto Brixton! Wolverhampton still holds top honours on this tour so far.

Yep that was a really odd gig. The Centre was about 75% full and the crowd was very static and quiet (although I was thankful of this during the acoustic songs!). The average Manics fan does seem a lot older these days - maybe their knees can't cope with the bouncing around. Still, me and the wife had a good time dancing around and singing towards the back. Just couldn't help but think throughout the gig: 'This would have been so much better at the Brighton Dome'.

Oh and ADFL at the start really threw everyone (including James at the end!) - sorry but I'm a traditionalist; that song is the set closer.

For the guitar nerds out there James also played the main guitar parts to ADFL rather than Wayne last night.

Not the greatest gig and the people who started smoking pissed me off!

Yep I saw people leaving quite early too. Like those that leave a football match early then missing a goal it's weird doing the same at a gig - imagine getting home to find you'd missed Yes, Nobody Loved You or Starlover....

I noticed quite a few left early at the Wolves gig, probably because of Sunday service buses and trains.

Soul-less gig, mostly due to static crowd but also Nick had a right bag on which didn't help. Starting w Design was a great shocker but I don't think it paid off, as ppl weren't in the right place for it.

I thought it was a great gig. Nicky was in a better mood, danced more, and James made a tit of himself. What more could you want?

Sad to see the Brighton centre so empty for a Manics gig. Even on the Lifeblood tour that wasn't the case!

Great performance from the band but the crowd were rubbish. Hopefully they will play the Dome next time instead.
