We want to go Hammersmith, to the aftergig-thingie. And after that we have to get to the North, in the neighbourhoud of St-Pancras.
Aftershow or not, I'll hopefully be spending the evening with you guys whatever you hope to be doing! Just don't disappear after the show

I think it's londoners .

Tube to hammersmith might be a problem if that's the last one. You could get a bus I guess, or a taxi if lots of you.

Well you could probably try and book in advance a big people carrier, but still yeah.

Why does the last tube heading west finish at 11.23?

Tube planner (north greenwich to hammersmith) is showing me a 40 minute journey...with trains every 5-10 minutes till 00.06

I'm still getting the last tube back as 00:17 to Hammersmith from the O2 as well, arriving at 1:07 - if you use the District/Piccadilly line option on TFL anyway.

Best way from North Greenwich to Hammersmith - Jubilee to Green Park then Piccadilly Line. A fair old trek, but should be do-able in 30 minutes. Piccadilly line from Green Park is much quicker than the District Line from Westminster.

I've been to the 02 three times, never had a problem getting a tube after you've just got to make your way out of the venue as quick as possible, and also know where to stand on the platform. i.e. don't follow everyone else!

Trying to plan train journey from Gatwick to my hotel in Docklands and got this message.... worked out that I need to get to London Bridge then DLR to Canning Town and then East India Street, which is next to my hotel, but got this message on National Rail routeplanner.....

FIRST CAPITAL CONNECT (THAMESLINK): On Saturday 17 December and Sunday 18 December, no Thameslink service across central London. Bedford fast trains will operate between St Pancras and Bedford, and local all-stations services will run between Kentish Town (for London Underground Northern line) and St Albans. Brighton trains will operate between London Bridge and Brighton.

Can a London-based FD'er please explain to me what this means and if it will affect me? Thanks

Link just comes up with "Sorry, your session has timed out. Your journey planning session has timed out due to inactivity.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience."

Thanks for trying though.

It's fine. the Thameslink runs from Brighton via Gatwick, to London to Bedford. You need to go from Gatwick to London Bridge......and this says that trains will still run to London Bridge, just not onwards from there through London.

What time would you suggest for queueing? I want a good spot in the standing area.
