Hm, on the O2 website it says that they do not have any cloakrooms or lockers. Where to put my coat then? It's winter outside, and I don't feel like holding a heavy winter coat for three hours... and not freezing to death on my way there either. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something?

Try and get hold of a short coat thats got a good warm lining but isn't too bulky. Something you can tie the arms of around your waist maybe (That's what I usually do if I take my hoodie to a gig.)

If you are in one of the seats high up and near the back you will need your coat!

It's fine. the Thameslink runs from Brighton via Gatwick, to London to Bedford. You need to go from Gatwick to London Bridge......and this says that trains will still run to London Bridge, just not onwards from there through London.

Thanks! Have only been to London once before and that was work-related so just jumped taxis and claimed it back as expenses. Have never seen a more complicated-looking thing than that rail/undergroun map!

At Birmingham 02 I wore 2 t-shirts, a fleece, my hoodie, a hat with earflaps and walking shoes. Inside I just had to remove layers as and when required. The worst bit was trying to make sure I didn't lose my hat but I managed it!

My mate and myself are going to get there early in an attempt to get our tickets before the doors open. Also I have a Motown Junk single delivery to make to a Belguim friend. Plus I need to buy a t-shirt for a friend and for myself. So a cloakroom attendant would add to my Manics job description
