actually more people need to get INTO Dublin more, the gigs ive been to there have been brilliant! Dublin Smithfield in 2001 still ranks as the best Manics gig ive ever been to.

Notts Arena 2004 - 8/10, brilliant setlist. best of Lifeblood and some corkers off THB. Another highlight being James' and Nicky's banter during the technical difficulties. Good stage show too.

Derby Assembly Rooms 2005 - 9/10 - Perfect Setlist. Awesome atmosphere.

Notts Rock City 2007 - 9.4/10 - 'Kin brilliant. Amazing set, so much energy, so much fun.

Only seen them a few times...saw them 5 times on the last proper tour, at Preston, Manchester (twice), Birmingham and when they played V fest. I managed to get right in front of James for the V fest one, took loads of ace pictures, then as I was leaving the arena after the gig the camera got knocked out of my hand and destroyed by trampling feet :'(

I was gutted. Absolutely gutted. The only consolation is that it was only a cheap camera, I wasn't going to take my digital one in there for exactly that reason!

i always take my camera then take one or 2 photos ..look at them see they're shite and put my camera away otherwise i just spend the gig faffing with the camera instead of enjoying it. Other people take much better pics than me anyway so i can just steal em off here!

One of my friends goes to every gig with a dslr camera and tries to think of ingenious ways of getting it past security. He's had some ace shots, I often wonder why he doesn't just get a pit pass for photography!
