Oh dearie me, I'm struggling to keep up with all the radio, telly and magazine appearances this time round! I haven't been on here much recently and just got the email tonight saying they're on the cover of "this week's" NME, only to discover it was actually last week's My hubby's a sweetie, he's just gone into town to see if there's any left at Tesco's!

Oops, better not tell the hubby... anyhoo prob best that he drove into town tonight as it's highly unlikely that either the Co-op or paper shop in the poxy village that I work in would have the NME.

Same. Only just noticed this thread. Was at my parents from Wednesday last week so didn't see any magazine racks. Will check in my local Spar tomorrow, they usually have NME. For once Ireland being a day or two behind the rest of the world might be an advantage.

actually fuck it, I'm going to look for it now, what's the point in having a 24-hour shop at the end of your road if you don't use it!

my Dad brought me a copy from the UK today. *** SPOILERS *** ahead for those who have not got it and want to wait for their copy in 3......

2......

1......

James : "I think we will, as a band, re-investigate ourselves as a concept....which we've done before and came up with 'Lifeblood', so we don't wanna make that mistake again.".

blood be boiling here. i am sick and fucking tired of hearing them slag the album off, but that's too far. a mistake? sorry, but the only mistake you made with the whole album was not releasing 1985 as a single, it being the best thing on it and more representative of the record than The Love Of Richard Nixon and to an extent Empty Souls.

James wants a punch in the face for that comment.
