The arena itself is within a complex of restaurants/bars so before you go in yeah you can meet up with whoever you like, but once you queue to go in I'm pretty sure those in the seats have separate entrances...at least I've been in different doors for both before anyway.

Probably, yes. It would be a complete anti-climax to end on This is the Day as well.

Once your in there can you then queue for the Arena?
I'm pretty sure it is 9am; it says that on their website anyway and I've definitely been in there around 10am before when I was there for the tennis, even though they didn't let anyone into the arena itself straight away. Once you are allowed in the building you'll be able to queue yeah; the entrances are right there when you walk in (well one is a bit further round passed the restaurants, but it's easy enough to find if you follow the signs).

When are you going to queue for the standing area? I'm sooo excited; It's the first time I'll be all alone on a plane

Probably won't be on FD until the gig now (mainly because I can't be arsed working out how to use FD on my phone).

Hope everyone travelling gets there safely and everyone enjoys the gig.

I'll be in the queue from about 9am I reckon, once I've made myself look presentable after the the 10 hour bus journey!

Is there just one queue for standing? I guess I'll just look for a long line of people and join it.I'll get there about 4pm probably. I don't want to get on the barrier as I want to jump around a lot so 2/3/4th row will be good for me so don't need to get there any earlier
Safe travels to everyone as most of us are making long journeys for this gig and most of it enjoy it!

signing off now as very early train morning, safe journeys everyone....see you down the front (or spread out amongst the arena, wherever you are)

I have been told by someone who is reviewing the gig for Q magazine, that 13,000 tickets were released for this gig, so not as big as i first thought.

Weather @ 3pm for the people queuing, 5* cloudy.
Something does not add up as Nicky quoted on twitter after a few days of tickets going on sale that 9,000 had already been sold and that was back in August.

Aaaah leave for this tomorrow!! really am so much in shock that it's actually here. It felt like it was never going to come about, and after so much chopping and changing i actually am finally going!
a man in our work who works in our other office was over today and was asking me what band i was going over to see and when i said the manic street preachers. of course his first point of conversation was "oh what do you call that one who disappeared? did they ever find him?"
but then he was all "oh they're a proper band. I used to work with a girl years ago and she was the same really loved them, and was over seeing them constantly. they just really inspire that devotion. It's remarkable. There's something so passionate about them."
Well!!!! i got all emotional secretly and was all THERE SO IS. i'll never love another band like i love the manics. there is something so unique about them.
saturday's going to be pretty special. As much as i think i can't be bothered, it's going to be amazing. just hope having a non-manics fan drunk friend tagging along to it doesn't ruin it! they just don't get it also hope the friday night's hangover doesn't leave a scar.

When I told a colleague I was going to see the Manics, he said their name sounds like a sex toy! Anyway, can't wait!
