Oh, I don't have a ticket either - did they actually give them out?
I received an email saying my name was on a guestlist so I assumed that was how they were running the whole event.

Sorry, I've never been to an event like this before, where it's competition winners only and I only just joined the forum so I must sound really silly. I'll go back and read the whole thread

That's ok. It's also my first time at an event like this. If you have been told that your name is on the guestlist, this is good enough. As I said earlier, don't quote me about the tickets.

Oh, think I may be able to assist here -I got a bit worried so contacted the name at the bottom of the email from Columbia/Sony. They emailed back after contacting Absolute Radio saying that anyone who won through Columbia/sony won't have been told about the cans as this is a charity thing that Hard Rock Cafe are running throughout this period. As far as Absolute Radio and Columbia/sony winners go this is not a fundraising event so no cans are required. All Hard Rock Cafe winners have this written at the bottom of their tickets due to the Hard Rock Cafe charity event - Hope this helps. Having said that I'll still be bringing the soup I brought yesterday! Look forward to seeing everyone there tomorrow.

I’ve just left you a voicemail – I have some bad news unfortunately, the lead singer from the Manics has laryngitis and the gig has been cancelled for tonight. We do hope that the gig will be rescheduled, which of course I will inform you of when that will be.
