I hope they do a tour of EMG in the new year. I can't see them releasing yet another anniversary edition of the album, the 10th anniversary one had so much stuff on there and the DVD was pretty ram packed too.

In the most recent interviews, it sounds likely they'll do it. Would be good if they did a Masses-style one off single at the time, or at least played a new song or two.

I think they could squeeze in EMG before 2021.

I understand why too much nostalgia can be a bad thing, but I really felt like THB tour wasn't really 'for me'. That wasn't the album in which I fell in love with the Manics - but Everything Must Go, that is 'my album' so to speak. If they do an anniversary tour I will just as made up as all the people who went to see the THB shows

Makes you wonder what other bands will do this full album anniversary thing too...
I was gutted that I couldn't get to the Pixies Doolittle anniversary tour.

Having said that - there are a lot of bands that COULD do it but probably shouldn't.

Either way, I'm happy to buy me a ticket to any EMG anniversary tour that takes place!

Many wonderful b-sides they could play. First Republic would be great live without the britpopy guitars. Have to say though, I would probably melt if they played Sepia. One of my all time faves. I love it even more than I love Donkeys. The song that is. I'm ambivalent about real Donkeys.

I hate it when they do that! Don't they know none of us have the freewill to not go to a gig or buy an album and by hell we're gonna moan about it.

I've certainly mentioned this before (more than once, no doubt): I have long had an 'alternative EMG' playlist consisting of the EMG b-sides and remixes, which I named 'Sounds In The Grass'.

It's not a bad shadow album...

Dead Passive and Nat West Barclays Midlands Lloyds must be their most dated songs, lyrics-wise.

Even though both are still great.
