I'm thinking the album will be no.3 probably, think no.1 may be a bit optimistic. That said HMV online appear to have sold out of copies, as i've had a note through saying its gonna be 3-5 days before they can ship it to me.

Bit of a disappointment really, the lads usually do far better here. Maybe not having a proper gig here is going against them.

Do Northern Ireland sales count for Ireland or UK? Forgive my ignorance, Ive been away a fair while...order my copies online to a NI address and get them forwarded.

My local CD shop here in Australia dont even have them, I'll be checking the other CD shop tomorrow.

Just having a browse on Play.com's top album sellers chart where Phillip is 2nd and MSP 3rd for their normal editions. Phil's deluxe edition is 48th while the Manics' one is 63rd.

Bit of an oddity in the HMV Digital chart - it could be an oversight on HMV's part, but the digital version of the deluxe Postcards is down as £6.99 at number 8, whilst the standard version is 31st at a price of £7.99. Clearly HMV have got their prices mixed up there as that's a big bargain for the deluxe version. Old PC is 4th in that chart.

No official word yet. Most of the indicators still look good. But as of yesterday, it was waay to close to make a call.

That HMV chart you keep looking at has nothing to do with current sales. It does mean they'll be sitting at No.1 in HMV stores next week, though, just like they were No.4 in it all this week. You needn't keep checking it, it won't change again before next Friday.

The online HMV best sellers chart is this:

http://hmv.com/hmvweb/bestSellers.do...0_best_sellers

The Manics are at 6 online. Overall, if you look down the left-hand side of that page, they are currently second behind The Script in the HMV top ten. Fuck knows or cares how HMV makes sense of these different charts and ends up putting the Manics at No.1 in their stores.

Oh shit. I saw this myself but thought "eh?" how can they be like #6 on best sellers but then #1 in their chart? So I just went with the best looking statistic Goddamnit!

Well I've done my bit to help. I've been in the giant ASDA in Great Bridge this morning. I've hidden the dozen Phil Collins albums they had further down in the DVD section behind the Disney films. If the decide tonight when cashing up why the Phil Collins albums have gone but have no sales and look on the Security camera's

Exceptionally good work! Although if a new generation of Disney watchers grow up to be Phil Collins fans we know who to blame
