Just be patient, Embla. Mail is mail and there's nothing you can do. Chances are you'll get it early next week.

Hello,

You're right. It would cost the world to send every item recorded. High value items are sent recorded and insured.

Normal items are sent first class.

If you item hasn't arrived within 10 working days then you need to contact the sales guys via sales@townsend-records.co.uk. Being the festive period things are taking longer than they should with the post though.

They'll forward you the item not received form to sign and send back. From there a replacement is sent

Thanks.

I think it's only 8 or 9 working days today since it was sent actually.

I'll wait a bit more beyond Monday before actioning given the post/weather situation.

i got mine in L.A. but i still haven't received a separate package from Townsend that was mailed out on November 29. given that the SKON bundle was shipped out on December 6 and i've already received it, i'm getting worried (and annoyed) by the lack of appearance of the other package.

I'm Western Canada and mine came within 7 working days. It's probably just the holiday logjam on your end.

I admit to getting nervous when mail (ie stuff I've ordered!) doesn't show up in due time!
If it were any other time of the year, I'd be a bit more relaxed. As a rule I never order anything in December and August (months of doom in my country!) this time I decided to go for it 'cause I didn't want to miss on the signed inlay.. it'd be my one and only signed Manics thing - I'm not so confident that I'll meet them in London!

I was the same way when I ordered the set. My only signed Manics anything.

At least you probably don't have to worry about mail theft. My old neighbours liked to help themselves to things like catalogues or nice little samples that I got in the mail. The mail is beyond your control. And with the wacky European weather and the holiday season, things do take a little longer.

I got my bundle yesterday. Things are tough all over post-wise. I like the packaging as well. Everything is mint and the signed cover is very cool.

And it's finally here!!
7" intact, jewel cases both cracked in a couple of places, signed inlay included (would've been so much cooler if they signed the 7"!).

Phew!

I've still not received my bundle. I sent an email yesterday and have not heard back from Townsend. Do you post or email item not received form? Because if you post them, I may never receive that either?

Still not received my bundle and not had a reply from either of the two emails I sent Townsend last week. I'm guessing they've not been open the whole time, but I can't believe they've been shut all of last week and this week.

I'm truly sorry to hear that
I do consider myself lucky that I got everything before Xmas...
I hope they'll get back to you soon and sort things out.
