You should have done. I'm not as scary as I look (especially with my freshly shaven head ) I would have said hello had I seen you. The t-shirt is technically littlebabyeverything's, but fortunately for me she used to buy her t-shirts really baggy back then, so it fits me perfectly. It's a pretty rare one as well (USA '96).

True. We were having a discussion about my username on the night actually. I still have no idea where it came from...

Funniest sight of the night was those 2 BSP fans with the headlamps being interrogated by security in the toilets. I think they'd gone into the same cubicle before BSP and were wrapping their heads in tinfoil when security pulled them out. One of them just kept saying "it's not drug related, honest!" while the security guy searched the toilet with a flashlight.

I enjoyed the gig anyway even though I was standing way off to the side and barely saw Nicky all night. and £2.50 for a pint of lager! I love England.

They got interrogated in the loos? Classic. The first we saw of them was when BSP came on and they pushed past us and nearly sent us flying! To be honest, we did wonder if they were on something related to the tinfoil. A pair of mentalists for sure. They seemed to disappear when BSP finished.

See now I totally misunderstood this bit at first and thought you meant they'd gone into the same cubicle with BSP

Saw em outside after the gig giving security a load of shit, dunno if they got kicked out or something. Did see one of em during Manics but he wasn't being that much of a nob.

Still, good to meet bradfieldslovechild, snooky and slightly delayed. Good gig. Oh yeah, walked past while they were doing the soundcheck and they played Australia, but not on the night. Bit of twattery from a couple of British Sea Power fans leading to a bit of a punch up. Manics were great again, loved the stuff about Nicky guilt-buying James a new guitar. I always love Faster live, but it's been sounding fucking amazing on this tour. Shame to see Sleepflower and Yes gone again though, they're probably back tonight Gutted the fuckers kept our tickets, too. Prettiest ticket of the tour!

Never been to Lincoln before though, nice little city. This made me laugh though:

Oh yes, I went down there
I bet you did. Although i'm sure you prefer Slag Lane in Manchester though?

That was weird - but ace!

I actually quite enjoyed Lincoln despite being iller than an ill thing and so dosed up on co-codamol after collapsing outside M&S earlier in the day, it was sedate, but that was a good thing for me.

Funny old venue though...

Just had to google maps that one. It's miles out.. Shame. I've been to a place called Bell End in North Yorkshire though, that's nice.

I never got any water, was just that bit too far back. Probably a good thing though, didn't need a desperate for the loo situation.

I like the way they call 'Tsunami' and 'Ocean Spray' crowd pleasers.

Here's some slightly ropey photos from the gig of, well, James mainly...

Definitely the best view I've ever had at a Manics gig.
