My guess is that it's version 1 (Europe passes through me) with a little accident. The accident really is not a big one, it's not wrong, it just doesn't sound good, and most people would choose other words to express it (although I doubt that many people are in the need of explaining why they feel that Europe is inside of them ;-)).

Google Translate is translating Europa geht durch mich as "Europe: by me". That might make a bit more sense than "Europe goes through me" - Nicky saying "this is my depiction of Europe"?

Soooooo..... Now that we have heard and enjoyed and analiysed the Bridge (song), the next question is.... Will there be any b-sides? ^______^

Really hope so. I love the b-sides, some of my favourite songs have been b-sides.

Ok I've tried to work out the lyrics for "Futurology" (the track) from the stuff on YT. Here goes and if anyone else can help that'd be great (sorry if its been posted elsewhere)

Futurology

Defenders of the faith
We'll...............................make
Descarding -------so pure
Scared to see our work/or worth
Evolved along(?) the way
To keep the wolves at bay
------
We'll come back one day
We never really went away
went away
One day we will return
No matter how much it hurt
and it hurts
--------
We vowed------------------
All their broken plans
All failed ourselves
We've done the best we can
A magnifying glass
With questions left to ask
---------
We'll come back one day
We never really went away
went away
One day we will return
No matter how much it hurt
and it hurts
---------
Guitar Part
Chorus x 2 as above

Please add/take out x

Yeah, I had a go in the Futurology thread…

Still not 100% on it all though.

I think you are right on "questions left to ask", good catch, updated my attempt in the other thread.

I'm thinking this could be the 'Rewind The Film'(track) of Futurology, i.e. a purchasable taster track off the album, to (hopefully) be followed by actual full single releases with b-sides later on.

But maybe I'm just being overly-optimistic that there will be b-sides, let alone a physical release of any kind.

Sainsburys listing Europa for download (sometime in May wasn't it ?) with cover art made me optimistic it would be the 'full' single but with the way Sony are 'communicating' this release with suppliers it could well have been just another momentary cockup

The only physical release which is announced is the album. We don't know what they are planning. Arguably they don't either!

They're currently saying Walk Me To The Bridge is out 29th June though (although on what format, who knows?). Surely they wouldn't release Europa in a couple of weeks, but promote a completely different song that has been given radio airplay and an official music video before that? I know Sony have cocked up a bit lately, but surely even they wouldn't be THAT ridiculous
