Hmm I'm tempted to say Nicky but even he couldn't muck it up too much, and neither could Sean.

All eyes on Wayne? Did he play on it?

I would actually say the original version of the song is a bit too fast paced. Slowed down a wee bit you can actually make out what is being said!

Then as said it could have been because of Wayne, bless him! Probably afraid of messing up on it.

Tish, the whole point is that it's too fast paced. That's what helped make the Manics REALLY exciting.

Yes Hammershit was a bit slowed down, and Wayne was way way way out of tune.

Everything Must Go has gotten a touch slower recently too.

No wonder EMG dragged on...even more so than usual.

I can't stand that song.

That's ok with the original recording when they were young but a few adjustments to it's speed didn't harm it I feel!

I didn't mind the speed 'Suicide Alley' was played at, it more the fact that they didn't play the high notes which are the best part of the song.

Autumnsong is another one that they played faster after the SATT tour which made it sound much better. i still don't want to hear it ever again though

I loved Suicide Alley, we aren't going to hear it again, so play it as fast as you like! Hell, play it on a piano for all I care!
