1) The Holy Bible
2) Everything Must Go
3) Journal For Plague Lovers
----------------------------
4) This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours
5) Send Away The Tigers
6) Gold Against The Soul
7) Know Your Enemy
8) Generation Terrorists
----------------------------
9) Lifeblood
10) Postcards From A Young Man

The top three are my favourite albums of all time and probably always will be. From the middle order I pick out the songs I like for playlists, while not even a phrase like "a bad Manics album is better than most bands' best albums" can save the bottom two.

Surely everyone has the same top 3 - just perhaps in different orders?

The rest of the list is open to debate for me:
1. The Holy Bible
2. Everything Must Go
3. Journal for Plague Lovers
4. Gold Against the Soul.
5. Generation Terrorists
6. Postcards
7. Tiggers
8. This is my Tooth
9. Know Your Enemy
10. Life Blood

Not for me, I personally don't think much to EMG, it's ok but I don't listen to it very often

1. EMG (Perfect!)
2. THB (Perfect!)
3. TIMTTMY (Near to perfection...)

4. GT (Seminal work...)
5. JFPL (Great songs & lyrics; productionwise it's a bit deceiving...)
6. SATT (Brilliant standout tracks, coupled with let downs such as "Your Love Alone"...)
7. PFAYM (Poppy all over...)
8. LB (Cold & beautiful)
9. KYE (Too many excellent tracks... too many for one record)
10. GATS (4 excellent songs and a couple of mediocre ones...)

4-10 varies... It's depending on my mood. To be honest: I'm in love with all of the records they've made.

Lol, it will be diferent in a few months, when you have been around as long as me you know them all from when they were actually released so some I've got fed up of and some (like Postcards) have never done it for me from the start

I like to put the albums in three categories:

Mark 1 - GT, GATS, THB, JFPL
Mark II - EMG, TIMT, KYE, PL
Mark III - SATT, PFAYM

Massive simplification I know - and if you drew these up on a Venn Diagram some albums would over lap - ir EMG would be both in Mark I and Mark II,

but basically from Mark III - I would say PFAYM is a much stronger album than SATT - lyrically, musically and production wise. And songs like ABBFTS, GP, TD and AWMIE are top rate Manic songs.
