Be glad at least you can just go out and buy it, they took the money on Saturday and I've still not seen it. Time for an irate email me thinks.

not received any email saying the order's been cancelled but i went and got one wh smiths today just in case. I thought the staggered dates meant those that ordered online would get it before october 13th. Might be worth complaining to Q that their distributor is playing silly beggers

At least 8 in Ely Smiffs. I hate Smiffs (sell chocolate/ink toner/everything etc at shit prices to make a profit as they are their own (and most supermakets') supplier. (Think they and supermarkets on make 5% on newspaperscand magzines or thereabouts. Already had magazine (Foos edition) but cat pushed it into bath. Magazine pretty good though there is a huge picture of a tiny cock without any warning whatever. Photo to follow.

Mini-album pretty good, even if it is only to appeal to Manics diehard idiot fanbase (you know who you are). Not bought vinyl in a while so thought I'd spoil myself. Must admit though half expected it to be all show and not a real album as it were with a circular piece of cardboard made to fall out when opened with "Coming soon" written on it in the GT font. The middle of the gatefold is truly a design for life though.

Ely Cambs not Ely Cardiff

Even if it was made to appeal to designed to the diehardest of diehard idiots. I'm not saying Manics aren't worthy of deeply loving fans, I'm one, but it's a bit of a pisstake innit?

I got it because I'm weak. Plus I'm hungover from my wedding yesterday ( hence lack of clarity).

I'm not out for a thick ear and bleeding lip, I'm not suggesting being a Manics fan mAkes you an idiot but record companies and marketing cunts know how to tap into peoples brains and hearts AND WALLETS.

Was accutely aware of the quote "Life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify" quote in the gatefold centre. Indeed twas thefirst bit I read/saw.

The thing bothering me is that they didn't even give me an order number on my confirmation email. If the vinyl never arrives, there appears to be little I can do about it without a lot of hassle. They also declined my £5 cashback for no apparent reason and they don't allow claims to be made against that either.

In spite of this, they took my money over a week ago. Rotten company, rotten experience.

Ironically, it's the very thing (fandom) that made the record label and magazine publishing company huddle together for warmth in these "troubled" digital era to create a baby that bit the hand that raised it by not being delivered properly, if you see what I mean. Just as governments are the last people you'd want in charge, or politicians the people you wouldn't vote for, retailers are the last place you'd trust with your hardearnt wherewithal if you had a proper choice. If you see what I mean.
