Coming round to it then!

I like the album, I think it's missing a calmer track though to bring out its qualities, like Small Back Flowers did for EMG. All We Make is Entertainment is the only song I'm trying not to despise - which probably means I do. Still don't get the first single choice though, it's really not a standout track.

Listening to it at the moment. It's just littered with those moments of magic that only the Manics can produce!

A song by Ash came into my head then as well. The one with the lyric 'There's a star in the night sky, the kind of star we have been dreaming of' (song title has gone out of my head at the moment!) Think that is the sort of elegant pop/rock that Postcards manifests.

The song is "There's A Star", which is rivalled for awful sacharine pop only by Candy on that album, so that's not, in my opinion, a good advert for PFAYM.

I think the album's really erratic, but there are far more many moments of mediocrity than excellence. The only 2 top songs, I think, are SKON and DBE. Everything else ranges from not bad to baaaaaad (auto-intoxication).

A Billion Balconies Facing the Sun is the worst song they've ever done. Sounds like something the Foo Fighters would write, and then throw away in disgust.

I'd like it, it's not their best work, there are some average songs on there but hey ho. SKON is in my top 20 Manics songs.

Yeah, There's a Star is ok, just like the rest of Free All Angels - was never bowled over by that album though. Sounds really dated now to me.

Anyone who doesn't like All We Make Is Entertainment is just bonkers in my opinion. Sorry. No offence to anybody, like!

I knew from the title alone that it would be one of my favourites on the album.

Gutless, you're the greatest cheerleader here. I doubt you'd ever offend anyone.

Not that I don't like it, I hate it. It's a song full of musical cliches, nothing more.

I actually think that I Think I Found It gets an unfairly bad press, given it's actually not a bad little song at all
