The last time i went was two summers back, i had a great time, but i wasn't in the camp site. It's basically a mix of drunken teens having a leaving cert party and scumbags, with a few poor unfortunate music fans stuck in the middle. If i decided to go, like the last time, I'll go only if i have the use of a camper van.

Ah yeah, if you're with a good group of friends it can be a great weekend. I think I was just unlucky both times, in terms of where our rather small band of campers decided to camp.

But even so, even the atmosphere can be sketchy. The main stage is pretty woeful during the day.

When I heard the announcement for the line up was due on the radio I thought of the Manics straight away!

Could they still play Leeds/Glasto or is there some arrangement about "exclusive" festival appearances?

It's really not that bad, people like to make out it's a lot "crazier" than it really is. It's full of pissheads but it's a music festival so that's par for the course.

this gives me hope for a few more uk dates maybe?

Have a great time all those getting tickets for this - possibly the best festival line up in a long time

suuuuuuuuuuuuch a shite lineup. I want to go and see the manics obviously but since the actual day lineups aren't announced for ages there's no chance of picking the right day. Nor do I fancy repeating the horror of waiting in the sun for about 6 hours desperately trying to get in like 2009.

Awk now Manics announced for T, therefore Oxegen? BALLS! This means I may actually end up going to Oxegen given that Pulp may be playing. The rest of line up is complete shite though. Hmmm I'll have to work out what is more financially sustainable going to London and seeing Pulp or heading to Oxegen. A girl I know is heading to Oxegen for her 30th (cos she's sick in the head clearly!) so at least I won't have to persuade ones to go. But it is so boke. Dunno if I can deal with all those cunts. Maybe T In The Park is less cuntish?

I emailed Hall or Nothing to ask what day they're playing... said they couldn't reveal it. Sounds like pish because Beady Eye and Coldplay have already confirmed what days they are playing.

I blagged in for £20 in 2009 through sheer luck. I ended up with bad sunburn though from sitting around almost weeping for hours with no ticket. £87 is just too much.
