My setlist prediction is that no matter what they'll play, there will be alot of moaning about the setlist on here.

Sadly I reckon this will be how it is. The manics simply don't want to drip feed the set with storming album tracks or bsides. They very much put on a GH show now.

So going from what people predict is it safe to assume they'll only probably play one or possibly two tracks from RTF? I'd like to see Show Me The Wonder live but apart from that I'm not too fussed.

A shame as it's great enough to be a mainstay of the acoustic section of the shows.

Sometimes I think they don't know their best songs...JFPL is easily the finest of their recent albums but that's virtually ignored in the shows now just a few albums on.

Well, my thought/hope (and it doesn't matter, really, as I won't be able to make any of the shows unless they suddenly decide to come back to the states) is that the direction of the RTF tour (linking it heavily to EMG and Truth) is a predictor for sets linking the new album to THB and JFPL. Too optimistic?

It's the same going back to 1991 really, it's just in 1991 they didn't have as many hits so you got more album tracks.

This will almost certainly be the case!

Most of the same shit, couple of new songs, and a few Holy Bible tracks for the anniversary. Unless they are doing Holy Bible dates towards the end of the year, as the album will be 20 years old in August...

Yeah I noticed that once when I was listening to some bootlegs, they've always been singles performers.

I don't necessarily want them to play old songs, just a variety. They don't write filler album tracks or bsides (ok, there are a few exceptions) so they should consider giving them more live time.

Not too bothered what they play as long as they put Revol in the set. From the recordings I have heard from recent tours it sounds absolutely immense!

Totally agree there. It has been amazing especially what they do with it musically. It sounds beefy.

Hopefully Sullen Welsh Heart will be replaced with Running Out of Fantasy, which is the strongest track on RTF and i'd love to hear it live.

Otherwise, probably the same old stuff with a few new ones thrown in. Nothing from Lifeblood most likely...again.

Another PPF-style tour would be great, less THB this time round though. More B-Sides.
