I hope they use the ADFL video intro they used on the EMG tour as that was epic.

Indeed. This was just at the start of my second year at uni and naturally when tickets went on sale it was before my loan came in, me and Rich/sculptureofabloke had a bit of a stress but ended up going and getting the bus back the same night. I really wish they'd kept We Her Majesty's Prisoners and Spectators of Suicide because they were incredible live.

Can't wait for this but anyone else think the ticket prices take the piss a bit!

Yea but it's the Albert Hall so expected. Plus they're no more expensive than stadium acts. At least they're not charging £150 like macca or Madonna

They wouldn't sell enough tickets if they charged Madonna or Macca prices. I think the price of these shows is excessive and I wouldn't blame the RAH for that. I've seen shows there which are half the price of these Manics gigs.

I know they wouldn't. I was expecting tickets to be 50- 60 who was charging half?

I'm not surprised by the higher prices either. Considering I saw The Killers there in 2009 and standing tickets were £45 plus booking fees (and according to Google the top priced seating tickets were £50 plus booking fees), the cost of these dates seems about right. Yes The Killers generally charge more than the Manics anyway, but that was a few years back and gig prices in general have increased since then.

I've just looked through my tickets and the charlatans were £45 in 2013 for the Jon Brookes gig £60 for a-ha in 2010 playing their first album in full with an orchestra, so I'd say current prices are average. I'd imagine the Albert Hall more expensive to book than the shepherds bush empire or brixton academy. The cost of running a tour must go up as the years go by too.
