It can't be ruled out that they'll do a... SATT10 deluxe edition and tour.

I think a time will come when they're trendy to the masses again and do massive shows. Certainly once a lot of the nostalgia artists people can see now, like the Stones, McCartney and Elton are all dead. Something will have to replace them and I think in time the music scene will realise that the Manics have a stronger depth of material than others from their day like Oasis or Blur.

The only problem is that James will look like some ageing mafia gangster and Nicky will respond so badly to old age that, despite his bald head, he will defiantly have grown the remaining clumps down to his waist.

So what is this The Escape From History documentary? Is it what is on the EMG 20th anniversary box set on the DVD? Any way, I hope they're in the studio working on new stuff, if they wrote RTF and Futurology together that means all that stuff was written and recorded over three years ago!

All I want is new music. I am not opposed to a Truth re-release but I have ZERO interest in seeing it performed live just as I had no interest in going along to the EMG shows at first (managed to get a ticket for Swansea but it was nowhere near as exhilerating as the THB:20 tour). Yeah, I want new songs, new ideas and for the band to just relax and do what they want.

I think we can categorically disprove that!

I'd actually like to see Truth live, I missed so much of it, maybe they could do a few special gigs in smaller venues.

25 years of Generation Terrorists?

Actually I think the next album will be quite low key.

As much as I've enjoyed the THB and EMG festivities, I just want new material now really. I want the next album to be just them doing their own thing much like with RTF and Futurology (it doesn't have to sound like either of those albums, I just want them to make the music they want to make again, not the music they think fans/critics/whoever want...so no last, last, last shot at mass communication just because people came out to see the anniversary shows, boys ). I mean this in the nicest possible way but I'm hoping the summer festivals are the last gigs (in the UK at least) of the year for them.

would love to see something new, but I feel we're being spoiled, a new album every 2 years, decent tour every once in a while. whatever fits them to be on top of the form, I'll go for it.

No more duets unless they're with someone who can match James. No more Georgia Ruths or Cate le Bon snorefests.

I don't really want anymore full album nostalgia fests. I'm happy they revisit older albums like how they did with the holy bible tenth anniversary whilst touring Lifeblood. Throw in three or four tracks from the album, maybe a couple that haven't been played much live, and leave it at that.

TITTYMITTY 20, calling it now
Except they don't seem to like it, rarely if ever play album tracks and didn't do a 10th.
