I wouldn't get too excited about LRS, it does seem to come back into the setlist every couple of years. A good sign would be seeing the return of Found That Soul which screams opening song more than anything else in their back catalog.

... so are we expecting more from GATS or KYE on the setlist for the upcoming tour? Asides from the singles (and Sleepflower) both albums have been relatively untouched for the last twenty years or so!

Found that Soul has popped up now and again recently. Freedom of Speech used to be played a bit around the SATT era though not for a while (I’m not sure how well that Beastie Boys lyric would go down now).

I'm struggling to interpret that as well, hopefully roi will shed some much needed light.
There is the the brian warner line off the convalescent of course, which really has aged very very badly.

A couple of them have passed but i don't think the line 'all bow down to the beastie boys' can be seen as objectionable, i always read it as praiseworthy.
To be fair it's only relatively recently that a 20 year old lyric has given us cause for concern! Maybe they'll change it for the gigs - 'and nicky wire has a tasty little ass'. Just off the top of my head, completely random like...

In fairness, there are one or two other more than slightly objectionable people namechecked in other songs.

I would like to see Know Your Enemy in its original planned 2 albums if that is possible ie if enough of it was recorded before the idea was abandoned.

I'd love to see it, even a tracklist would be interesting

I might be in the minority here, but is namechecking an objectionable person in a song REALLY that offensive?? As long as your not praising or condoning tbeir actions I dont really see the problem.

I always heard the line "All bow down to The Beastie Boys" as heavily sarcastic, certainly not praiseworthy.

Didnt the beasty boys organise those tibetan freedom concerts? That would add up with it being sarcastic. |

Yeah I'd far prefer just a confirmation of the previously planned tracklist (or how far it got - I can't imagine they ever fully realised the plans for it) in form of Nicky's studio scribbles in the liner notes etc. Leave the album as-is, it's bad enough they remove and add tracks on these anniversary reissues, I wouldn't want them to completely renovate the tracklist.
