Total pleasure working with M.Sheen-he's put so much into this weekend-would not rewrite 'design' for anybody else x

They had a different set of lyrics to it. You can check video footage of it in the topic devoted to the event.

Yeah, I've seen it. Bit awkward seeing Manics in a play, wonder if they'd ever rewrite Tolerate for a pantomime.
"If you tolerate this then your children will be next" "Oh no they won't!" "Oh yes they will!" Last edited by Scarecrow; 24-04-2011 at 12:54. |

And to carry on the panto theme:
"Where's Richey? I can't find him anywhere?" (A Richey lookalike creeps about behind him as the kids all scream) "He's behind me?" (Turns around after Richey hides behind a dresser) "There's nobody behind me boys and girls!" Etc and all that. Actually yeah, the Manic Street Pantomime sounds like a laugh, providing they don't do a Jim Davidson and make it "adult". Jim Davidson, Panto and the Manics and it's just gone 7PM! |

(Nicky on his knees holding something in his hands)
Nicky: Our career is dying! Only by you all saying "I believe in fairies" can bring it back to life! Altogether! "I believe in fairies"! (The audience sit silent) Nicky: Well bloody sod you then! (Storms off in a huff) |

You know that bit they always do in pantos when they do a nonsense song and it turns into a tongue-twister? Like, "how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?" Yeah. There's plenty of material there, isn't there! ;D
