Ha, that's true . I suppose in fairness to him he 'maintains the right to contradict himself'.

Yea, a bit like how he was grovelling about NME when they awarded them that award a couple of years back

James might accept it if he was ever awarded one! Probably!

They've always been pro-NME though, despite the wilderness years!

They did turn down an invite to a gala hosted by the Welsh Assembly because the Queen would be there, so I have a feeling there's no OBEs in their future heh.

It seems to be someone off CBeebies - who Martin Carr ticked off earlier for being a "bad Welshman" for reporting *that wedding*. Or something!

Yes. Instead of celebrating Welsh devolution and being a small part of an ever-more influential institution, taking power away from London and empowering Wales they decide to achieve absolutely nothing by making a sanctimonious stand. I for one was massively impressed.

James urged them to play the Pistols 'God Save The Queen' on Radcliffe & Maconie as the last record played on it before they moved. Because 'of the Royal wedding'!

He would not. He's a 'staunch Republican', I'll have you know

Disappointed that he hasn't quoted Sculpture of a Man
NME would have gone nuts for that, before moving on to report one of the Gallaghers having a shit or spilling some milk.

Some of those lyrics that pair came out with in the early days put them on the same intellectual level as the stars of Jersey Shore.
