Objectively - in terms of commercial and critical response - I think the albums should be ranked as such:

EMG
THB
JFPL
TIMT
SATT
F
GT
RTF
KYE
GATS
LB
PFAYM

My preferred order would be:

THB
EMG
JFPL
TIMT
LB
F
KYE
SATT
RTF
GT
GATS
PFAYM

Each to their own. But Futurology a 8/10 or 9/10? Fuck off.

You are a charming person aren't you? I happen to think Futurology up their with their strongest albums and I have now listened to it -fully - 20 times. I have constructed, deconstructed, picked apart and analysed the album as much as I can. I rank it up there with the best albums they've done.

To be honest, I highly rate seven tracks from Postcards (plus some b-sides) and don't think it's a complete travesty, but I'm critical of various aspects of that period and decision they made. I feel like an apologist for the half I like because most of my friends hate it, and speak of it as though it's an undisputed fact that it's shit. Manics fans, eh?
