Oops, It wasn't my find, I have to thank a more devoted Manics fan than myself, Industrial! I think I may owe them a pint in the future (which in my neck of the woods would cost more than the book!)

Better thanks them on this forum too should they ever have a peek!

I think it's sad as it probably cost more than three quid to produce the book, but it was a grubby copy and the front stickers were half peeling off (not that it bothers me).

You're probably right about HMV, I managed to get TLORN single in one of their previous sales for 25p!

3 bloody quid? Jesus Christ. Wish I could have got it for that. Still, glad I have it, it is a lovely book but like everyone agrees there are too many pointless, blurred photos in there and too much empty white space, which is a waste basically. Might find it in the top sellers lists soon if people pick it up for £3 haha! "The #1 bestseller from Nicky Wire"

Had a flick through this evening. and that was the first thing I noticed. Read the interview with Jeremy Deller, which was quite entertaining, but I hope I get more than that out of the book.

That n the Yorkshire Book Clearance - though obviously only helpful should you happen to live there...give it a few months....they'll be there...either just before the paperback is due - if there's to be one - or sooner...I can wait...like waiting for your polaroids back from Boots they took a while and always included random people who you couldn't remember....either they weren't your photos....or you'd drank more than you realised (joking)

The stickers on the front of this were pissing me off, so I tried to superglue them on, and the superglue now seems to have permanently stained the cover. I wouldn't mind, but it's a signed copy. Typical stupid me.
Ahhh, it's a funny story to tell

If anyone wants a slightly cheaper copy (think it was about £8 but the corners were a bit knocked) and lives South London/Surrey way there is one in the Kingston Oxfam Bookshop - or if anyone wants to buy it before it's pulped! I refuse to own 2 copies. Refuse. Please buy it so I don't go back for it...
