I see they've produced a Stay Beautiful/Beautiful Ones shirt for the tour. The first case of a half and half gig t-shirt?

No thread about tonight's (2am GMT?) headlining gig in Seattle.
Looking forward to hearing and reading about it tomorrow morning. |

The official Wales World Cup song is a tad more political than Together Stronger.
Wonder if we will get anything from them for the World Cup or if they are keeping their distance due to where it's being held. |

Don't ask why but I was skimming through setlist.fm and found this set https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/manic...-1bc6bdfc.html with this comment at the bottom:
Note: "No Surface All Feeling" was stopped halfway through, when the band was rushed off stage from their own roadies because of some emergency. It turned out to be a typical final-night-of-tour-prank. JDB came back after a while to perform the acoustic middle set and everything went on as normal Unlikely that anyone here was at the gig, but doesn't sound like a prank I've ever seen and can't imagine the band being impressed. Plus, it wasn't the last night of the tour! |

I can imagine James firing every roadie involved if that happened, it would totally fuck up a bands mindset.
But wasn't this the gig where James told the crowd to shut the fuck up as they were talking over Small Black Flowers?

Please tell me there's a good quality bootleg of this?

Darn, just checked the live archive in the Sound and Vision section of the gig and it's not in there.
Dundee Caird Hall in 1998 the crowd put James off in the intro to This is Yesterday by clapping along but I can't remember if he swears at them! Edit: He doesn't. |

Not sure if there's a recording, just something I remember reading in Everything.

Dunno where to put this but That’s No Way To Tell A Lie is the best Manics video of all time and probably the most underrated song.

Totally agree. One of the best if not THE best! "It's Not War..." is brilliant as well, too bad they wasted such a great video concept for such a meh song from a farts album.

Those two are a lot better than the “band stood around doing nothing” videos
TLORN is my favourite

I like PFAYM. Will duck for cover now. Good shout. Loved the Lifeblood era. Lets hope it gets an acknowledgment and an anniversary edition next year. |

2024! We've got Nicky's second album and *wishful think a new Manics album and tour before we can get to whatever they do with Lifeblood.
