Ah wow... That's about as much as I can muster in my post-gig dream state. Will write more when I have got home and had a little sleep! Ran down a fully charged camera battery taking copious pictures of nicky's legs too, I'm sure you'll all be pleased to hear.

Well, morning after and I can reflect on the gig better now. That was the best Goddamn Manics gig I've ever been to! The crowd were the most up for it I've ever seen at a gig, keeping it going for all 38 songs was great. I've blown out my vocal chords pretty much though haha!
Looking at the big screens every now and then from the front I saw a lot of different angles from all over the place so SURELY they recorded the footage and can edit it to make a great live DVD? Filming that just for the big screens would be silly and a real missed opportunity.
Saw plenty of faces I've seen from past gigs or on here but I dont' know names or anything but most people seemed to love every minute. Saw a couple of people around who seemed to have no idea of half of the set, and I saw one guy who was looking around cluelessly having no idea at all so guessed he'd been dragged along by someone else. I was jumping on my own a lot of the time but I don't care, I was having a bloody blast! Oh and I have to go on record as saying that every single female Manics fan is gorgeous, the band have the prettiest fans in the entire world!
Revol should stay in the setlist forever, I have no idea at all why the band slag it off, the crowd went mental for it, loved the extended middle part before James started the guitar solo, the mosh pit on that song was insane! Great. My feather boa totally died sadly
Oh and seeing Nina live on stage was lovely, very nice.
Thank you MSP, I enjoyed every second of it last night and I love you.

Well that was the best I've seen them in the 20 years I've been going. Enjoyed everysong though I did save the toilet breaks for Autumn Song and Life Becomes a Landslide. The only downside for me were the groups of middle aged men who are up and down in the seats all night going for more beer or a piss, the longer the night went on the more pissed they got so they were staggering about and falling on us, two in front of us eventually fell asleep!!

I got to the O2 about 6pm and wanted to say "hello" to the q before I joined the q, but because of the way the q was set up, I was unable to do so, so I apologise for not being able to say "hello" to you all (apart from Amanda, who I had a breif chat with). As the q at entrance F ws being let in, I saw Franny, Louise, Sam and Amanda. I managed to get a spot on the end of the barrier, on Wire's side. I had a nice corner all to myself. Martin Hall was stood near me during the gig, and I spotted Mitch Ikeda as well. During the gig I spotted various familiar faces on the barrier, when I saw them on the screen.

Gig wise, I'd heard most of the songs played last night, so for me, it was nice to hear those I'd either not heard live before ("Love's Sweet Exile") or rarely heard (TBTGOG, Revol, SWSS). For me, I didn't think SWSS worked live, along with LBAL.

Due to the infrequency of late trains from Euston, I left during YLAINE. By then, I'd heard all of the songs that I'd wanted to hear.

I didn't enjoy this gig as much as previous MSP gigs, but I think that was down to me seeing Motley Crue 3 days before, who were awesome!!

It was about 15 mins. It may have been cut short because the band came onstage 20 minutes late.

Probably the best night of my life, loved it down at the front and the big screen was very impressive, great visuals.

Some photos (I think the link will work):

There were cameras in the rigging I believe

http://www.flickr.com/photos/mark-re...7628468025239/ - some pictures from A Night Of National Treasures at the O2 with the Manics. The more I think of it, the more I think this is the best show I've seen them do since 1999.

Well, where do I begin?
I think I'll start with: "Fucking, wow."
That was just magnificent. I'd grown tired of the Manics during the whole PFAYM era, but last night just restored my faith in them entirely. Every moment was incredible (I even found myself enjoying INW for the first time ever)
The band were on incredible form, the sound was immaculate and the stage was beautiful. I never thought I'd see Revol get such an incredible response - hopefully that will encourage them to play it more.
All the usuals were awesome, but TBTGOG was so gorgeous, I had goosebumps.
Some bird next to me started crying during Theme from MASH. I thought that was odd.
But yeah, my brain is still an excited jumble. I'll post something more coherant later.
In short, that was a reminder in why the world needs the Manics. May they ride on the glory of last night and return in two years with something truly special.

I loved every second of it, band on fine form! Believe it or not my personal highlight was TBTGOG!! It was pretty mad down the front, everybody going crazy for Faster, and jumping for Motorcycle Emptiness resembled that of keeping your head above water with everybody else, fantastic!!

It was very emotional at times which was unexpected, but in over a decade or more the best Manics gig I have attended. It had everything, quite literally!
Once again the only band that matters.

I will say that it is a tragedy if they don't release a DVD of the big screen feed. It may be a rough live edit, but I would pay money for it.

One gripe & one gripe only, no badges

I was fortunate enough to get a mug. I can see why they wouldn't sell the mugs before the gig. As I said earlier, I left the gig before the end, so I was able to beat the crowds and get a mug.
