Yeah, a gripe about Manics from TGW must mean the end is near

i don't think anyone wants to actually be on a roundabout though. they already released Everything Must Go after The Holy Bible once... this is not a shocking new direction, it's a totally familiar switch. maybe if this was a song that you couldn't imagine being on a previous Manics record? there are lots of artists out there that genuinely do change tack with most records, and don't go back- frankly, it's the least you should be expecting. if you agree with Nicky this is SATT 2... which was already EMG 2... where are all these directions exactly

Pretty sure it's listed as a sign of The End of Days...

Sounds like a retread of YLAINE, I'm not loving it, neither am I hating it. I'm not voting until I've heard a better quality version than the youtube rip I found. So there.

Nah, don't make your apocalypse plans yet. It's not a complaint about James - that really would be the end of the world! (I say this with lots and lots of love, Tracey!)

With regards to different directions I feel they have covered quite a few different bases. Of course similar sounds are gonna come up every so often etc etc but at least they try.

I love Nicky's vocals and particularly adore his backing vocals in Manics songs, but even to my ears it seems a bit unnecessary in this song.

Gotta admit, I do wonder why Nicky keeps stepping near the mic. He does know he can't sing to save his life, right..?

I'm more wondering where his second solo album is, considering how much he wants to be in the vocal spotlight these days.

I've just realized: it is also the album opener! oh, that easily makes the worst Manics' album opener. Unfortunately
