Got an email yesterday sayin that they'd got my original package back Arrived today. Dunno what went wrong but they've kept me posted and it's all turned out good in the end here. Fingers crossed for the rest of ya.

Sounds like your postman didn't leave a card and it stayed at the delivery office, then got sent back to the sender?

Must've done, was nowt there when I checked. Ah well, job's a good un now. It's not Townsend's fault.

Still nowt and had an email saying Royal Mail haven't returned it to them so will have to check at the sorting office at some point. Gah!

I once didn't get post for about 4 weeks. Then one day got home and had trouble opening the door because they'd shoved so much through the letter box. Royal Mail is so far behind the times it's unreal, but their pensions prevent anyone doing anything about the staff as it'd cost millions.

In 2007/8, I won something on ebay from someone in the UK, in November, and it was sent then, but I didn't get it until the following April!

It's no wonder the young man may never write or post postcards again. Royal Mail pension liability is 8 Billion pounds, was just on the radio.
