And I will use my 1,000th comment to throw in some whining:

NICKY WHYYYYYYYYYYY. Dammit, I know it's not practical for them to do shows here in North America, but I want to see this band live!

Carry on.

for those of you with a bit of funding, this is quite serious - the Japanese are rather keen to attract tourists back after the nuclear accident. i believe some good deals are on offer as a consequence of this. why not consider going?

So they are playing Suicide Alley and New Art Riot in Japan... Yet they chose not to include them on National Treasures: The COMPLETE Singles? And didn’t play them on the night where they played ALL of their singles? And where is PCP in all of this?

My head hurts.

yeah, absolutely terrible for them - years of those exclusive Japan only tracks and releases that the rest of the world has had to either pay a fortune for or pirate. it's only fair that they get even more exclusive stuff like these two songs being performed. poor bastards.

two exclusive songs that aren't really all that good. You're sounding just a little bit spoilt.

Is that supposed to be a good thing? It's a long way down from the glory days of weekly Eastenders spots. Never forget Masses Against The Classes being used by a dirty old man as an aphrodisiac.

I imagine the lovely people of Japan would trade in those two songs being performed and all of the exclusives that Japanese record companies insist on having if it meant the earthquakes and nuclear disasters didn't happen. Which, I assume is what was meant by "all that shit that happened"...

Is there anyone else who's unfamiliar with 'New Art Riot'? I read about it all the time but I couldn't tell you how it goes... or even if I've ever listened to it.

Yeah, I wonder how they're going to approach that Tsunami moment in the setlist. Awkward...
