It's definitely samples / backing tracks. I'm guessing therefore it's from Jimbo's guitar tech. They wouldn't trust Naysmyth with that surely? He'd have them all replaced with some fairground organ remixes.

Hard to tell cos I've not been there, but Small Black Flowers has a backing track on this tour (for the Harp) and that isn't on this list. I'll see if I can see some long shots from other dates to rule Murray out/in. Generally though yeah those songs with a number do have some form of backing going on.

Well - I guess it's a joke, but in the old days it was definitely Nick Naysmithe who was responsible for backing track. But to continue with your joke: it happened once, I donÄt know when - Lifeblood Tour or FD tour probably - that he switched two sings (one of them was La Tristesse the second probably You Stole the Sun or what) and James was very diplomatic: NICK NAYMSMITHHHHH, NICK NAYSMITHHHH, You Stole the Sun for La Trisstesse!!! NICK NAYSMITHHHH Does anyone remember that?

I think this is wrong, no backing track for harp, that's Nick Naysmithe. James plays without in-ear, there's no click, how should he synchronize himself with the backing track? Moreover he changes the tempo during the song quite often - an quite well.

sorry then
I just thought yesterday that it was Sean who released the backing tracks. I was not sure, but it seemed to me so...
