the advertising said the album would be available from the 27th september online and in the shops on the 13th october. Nowhere did it say before you placed the order that you would have to wait a month, or that there would be a delay while they upgraded their payment system.

This 28 days malarkey is a bit silly. Is Q published monthly or four weekly?

Same day every time?

Still a bit silly though. The next one will be out a couple of days after you get this one.

It's not all that topical a magazine really anyway.

And by topical, I also mean 'interesting'.

People, I'm so happy! I didn't want to say anything because I wasn't sure he would be able to find it, but...one of my best friend lives in London, and he's just bought me a copy!!!

Still wishing everybody good luck

5 Copies in Middlesbrough, 8 in Teesside park in Stockton, + many posts saying there are many copies remaining all over the country. As I said earlier, these clowns in Bauer Media are waiting for the returns so they can send them out as 'pre-orders'. Financially for them, this makes good economic sense. Why press-up all those copies for pre-orders when they will get many back as unsold from WHSmiths.

I think you're right. I just wish they'd admit it and let us know that they won't be posting them out until the early part of November. They could even compensate us and send us a free copy of the next issue of Q. Or some sort of compensation anyway. They're service sucks, especially since they'll make more profit on the copies bought directly from them.

Are a lot of people still waiting for this? I ordered mine around a month ago and they took the money on the 7th, but still no mag. Not been into to Smiths in town to see if they have any, but haven't really got the money to buy two. I'm not really surprised about how badly they've done this, I did work for a magazine publishers for four and a half years!
