Futurology video and track, sounded good.

Maybe they'll do Sunday Brunch again; hope so.

Futurology is Album of the Day on 6music today. Each show will play a track from it, all day.

Thanks for the heads up on The One Show, that feels like it's been coming for ever!

Looking forward to tonight's XFM if they're doing the album track-by-track, they're usually a good listen.

On the One Show? That's pretty big and popular so that'll be an amazing show for them to go on, hopefully that will get some more sales as I bet a lot of people who were into the Manics in the big years, ala 1998/1999 may watch it and will be surprised to see the Manics on there and buy some music again by them (I know some people who watch it and don't even know the Manics are still releasing albums!).

John Major has just left the One Show early...

Unlucky. They decided to promote If You Tolerate This instead.

Oh course they're playing an acoustic You Stole The Sun From My Heart on The One Show. That makes perfect sense two days after a new album is released.

(edit: was quite nice though).

Is it just me or did that totally miss the whole point of promoting a new album? An (admittedly) nicely done documentary but about a hit from 1998 and then play a track from that album. Felt like a waste of time if Futurology is only going to occupy 30secs of conversation.

Ah now lads, perfect opportunity for an acoustic version of SLAMP there and you play that. Ah well, given me an idea about how to play the song to the girlfriend when I propose to her!
