Yep, chorus stuck in head! Looped on the internal jukebox.

I really like it. A fast grower on me. It does remind me a bit of 'That's No Way To Tell a Lie' and 'There By the Grace Of God' mixed together.

Think I'll leave off listening to it again until it's released as a single. Can see where everyone is coming from in their comments with regards to peoples points of view. There's no point getting worked up about different opinions because that's life! Agree with what Hummingbird has been saying and a few others that not liking some stuff doesn't make you less of a fan or whatever. It's all down to your personal taste. For those who are extremely disappointed at the moment I hope you will find something else on the album that is more to your liking!

Nasal Scarecrow - I hope you don't get put off by any comments. Don't leave FD! Can get a bit rough in here sometimes but we love each other really!

Great. Just don't appreciate you slagging off the people on this forum just because some of us don't like the new song. If news is what you want, I believe you can find it on the homepage.

Well, due to being in work yesterday I had to wait until 4:20pm to hear (It's Not War) Just The End Of Love. I like it a lot. I hear bits of The Great Western, Little Baby Nothing and Jackie Collins Existential Question Time in there, but with a more sugary sound. I have nothing negative to say about (It's Not War) Just The End Of Love.

Unhappy

I'm underwhelmed by it and hate to say it but I voted it was lazy and for me that is unbelievable. It sounds as if they really were trying too hard to write a Big Radio Hit

I doubt it very much and the lyrics are shocking. I hope the album is much better or this could be the first time I'm out of love with the Manics.

i think it's better than YLAINE, but seeing as that's my least favourite single, that's not too much of a compliment.
Go on Manics, get some actual strings on tour!
Massive disappointment if we have to face them being emulated by the keys...

Villa beat Bayern Munich to win the 1982 European Cup. Sorry, couldn't resist

Great idea! They should bring a string quartet with them, placing them on the back or the left side of the stage, how great that would be! Especially an all-female string quartet...

I am really rather disappointed with it - particularly as I can't get Daniel Powter's 'Bad Day' out of my head when I listen to the beginning of it. Very Radio 2. Not a patch on YLAINE.
