Fingers crossed. I reckon they’ll announce something in the next month or so. Maybe a May (or near) release date and then some KYE material played at this year’s festivals.
Exactly what I'm thinking, wishing and wanting to happen!! It seems they will play a lot of dates during the summer due to covid-19 economic losses. All the bands are seeking profits from touring.

I also think that a short KYE anniversary autumn UK tour would be super good for the band and of course for all of us...!!!

Have you all lost your minds!!?? We are truly through the looking glass of heritage band shit now Alice - imagining them playing anything from Know Your Enemy (apart from Baby Elian) is spine chilling.

Best answer to Heritage accusations is show the crown jewels of why they became heritage material.
Only reason newer bands aren't as successful (Yet some are having more number one albums than the Manics!) could be down to chart download change
But what is the criteria for determining Heritage.
Given Manics longevity answered silently.

...and to then shit all over those jewels?

THB tour was excellent a few years back - bit still uncomfortable with it.

I don't think they've shit on the jewels. For a heritage act it's surprising the old stuff is dug out for a whole tour then put back under glass.
The odd THB track used to get in the set before 2007ish. Now a complete ban on those songs that I feel could fit alongside recent setlists.

I wouldn't mind but I've now got the intro from "Builder Of Routines" whenever I see this thread boosted and go to look!

Just seen on twitter that it’s 21 years (!!!) ago today that they played Cuba.

Tomorrow is Friday. Everything is quiet. Get that announcement made.

Starting to wonder.

Interesting that the Tramshed chat has been cancelled so quickly after it was announced as well.

Very, very quiet.

Ok, the Tramshed chat could be down to miscommunication. It was quickly announced then cancelled shortly after.
*Weird guttural noise
Well it could be coincidence. I still say we should wait until the KYE anniversary date next month. Or if no news by their first date of the year. Then possibly withdrawn.
This time next year, Rodney we'll be making our own playlists of every single KYE period track!

OK, we said all that over a year ago now. That said, TUVL ended up being announced in May. May-be that would be a rough time to wait for? They seem o have settled into a rough month by month thing for the various new albums/rereleases each year...
