  • We all have jobs.
  • Not being able to get there early doesn't give you a reason to assault people that did.
  • The band seemed not mind our presence. Quite the opposite I'd say.

I was at London on Friday and Wolves. I saw you, as I overheard you talking to some other FDers but I didn't say hi, as you are an impossibly glam young pup, and I am a shrivelled old scruff.

We were lucky Tracey to have a good spot in front of James, and extra lucky to have a few small people on the barrier which meant we could see with no probs. But I hate all the pushing and shoving at gigs. There's no need for it.I've been elbowed in the face a few times by people way taller and bigger then me.It bloody hurts, there's no harm in asking politely if they can pass you.

A part of this site where you can download bootlegs and such, but you need to have 100+ posts to gain access.

I don't mind people who tap you on the shoulder and ask if there's any room, but this guy was utter scum and got very violent about it. The people at the front also all have jobs; we just use this wonderful newfangled thing called annual leave and holiday.

Just to add, James and Nicky didn't seem to mind us being at the front at all. Quite the contrary, James was brilliant to us every night and Nicky was all smiles.
Did I ever say it gave him an excuse to hurl abuse at you?
Not everyone can get time off work to do a tour, neither would everyone want to spend their annual leave sitting on pavements all day...ooh but means you´re not dedicated enough, sorry!

Are you him?

It's not a question of dedication, it's a question of common decency. If he had physically assaulted a girl in the street the same way he did us he could have been arrested. Just exactly how is that excusable behaviour in any case? If you can't get there early just accept second row and deal with it. In fact, I'll just quote MrsCarbohydrate's earlier reply to your comment. It's very concise.

It's not really a question of dedication for some.
I'm 5ft3 so basically if I'm not on the barrier, I can't even see the band unless I go and stand near the back.
I expect pushing and a fair few bruises but what I experienced at Wolverhampton was way beyond that, and unfortunately it ruined the gig for me.

And we know where you conceal your hairbrush don't we? It must be like having a dead hedgehog inside you Lindz?!

It was lovely of you to talk to us, I had a wonderful time, and waiting for the gig to start wasn't boring this way.
I'm home again (wishing I were in Ireland right now), but the great memories of the gigs, you and the other lovely fans will stay with me for a long time.

Sorry to hear that Lauren. Try and imagine that you had been in a rugby scrum with your fave rugby players naked!

Nope, I´m not him. I never said he was right to assault you, did I? Personally, I´m happy to be in the 3rd row or whatever, but I can understand where he was coming from as the same people seem to invade the barrier every night.

Are you the German lady that me and Helen spoke to? (Sorry, didn't get a name!) Also sorry if you're the wrong person as I don't think she had joined the forum but was considering it. Nice to chat to different fans anyway!
