This is 1st time since the Manics have done small venues since 2007, I think I'm right but the last promo tour done with a fair few dates was in September 1998 then they did the Arena in December.

People should relax they'll be a full tour & probable additional dates on this one. I did secure a ticket but it was done for me but it depends on the LP really if I go. Manics tend to play 5 songs off a new LP & then the usual 'Singles' which most fans have heard too much.

You wouldn't count the working mens club, Brixton Academy, Blackwood Miners Club type gigs from PFAYM?

I'm on holidays in September, and have another couple of gigs on so I'm skipping this one. But the album to be released next year sounds very interesting, so will be heading to that tour for sure...

Just to add another voice to the 'email link didn't work this morning' chorus.

I owe my tickets to sofarsideways, who posted a link earlier in this thread, and to whom I offer eternal gratitude. If the whole album is as fabulous as Rewind The Film these gigs should be quite something.

Been at work since 7am and don't know what went on with this email problem. That said, my friend bought me a Manchester ticket and I sorted a London one on my piece of shit phone on my break, so only the others to worry about now!

Not really as it was not a proper tour like in Sep 1998

The SATT tour was in small venues but it was a full UK tour which went on for 1 month at least & they chose great venues, I did the 1st 2 in London.

Got mine for Dublin. No issues at all.

Kept offering me the exact same seats so I had to log into Ticketbastard via a few computers around the offices at once to "trick" the system.

Got what I wanted - 5 rows back, in the centre, on an aisle so I can swing my legs out. I'm tall, my good lady is not and the Olympia seats would cripple a dwarf.

I didn't know about the problems with booking until just now, but I managed to get a Glasgow ticket this morning - tried through the app on my iPhone but to no avail, so quickly loaded the site and got through without any major issues. Hopefully everyone else can get tickets on Friday without any further problems.

Fucking touts. Already said it before but I failed big time on not getting tickets for Manchester and by booking a hotel right before the presale, so now I'm stuck with a room and no gig tickets. Fucking fuming! Nice way to get to 5,000 posts.

There's still Friday. A very small percentage of tickets will have been included in the presale so all is not lost. I missed out on Manchester, but I'm hopeful I'll get some on Friday.

Do Box Offices still have a certain amount of tickets to sell all are they all allocated for internet or phone?? memories of queuing all night to get tickets for T Rex, Bowie Slade and Gary Glitter back in the early 70's.

Usually not. Maybe some stores selling tickets have for a few gigs, but the only tickets getting to box offices are ones they haven't sell.

In desperation this morning I tried phoning Ticketmaster. Please don't bother they have pre-recorded massages that then don't understand your enquiry to try and book.

Friday will be spent on 2 computers trying to get 2 tickets for Manchester.
