Takk, the airfare is just over $1300. The fare itself is about $700 plus. The taxes are $569 or so, equalling a $1310 airfare. I'd need to visit for 4-5 days to justify the cost. A half decent hotel would be about $150 a night. Add in food and spending money and it's close to $3000.

There is the Etap and Travelodge in the docklands area which is not too far fromthe O2, for around 50 plus quid

All the beautiful window displays at Harrods, Harvey Nicks, and Selfridges! The lights, the atmosphere.

Why does there have to be $600 in flight surcharges making up half the plane ticket cost?

8/9 degrees is like spring! It's beautiful. This is coming from someone who can see -40 at that time of year.

Same here...I would love to go to London. Seeing the Manics while there would be a dream come true! But I just can't afford it, especially since all my savings are going towards moving.

I know well, I can't afford shopping at Harrods or Selfridges, so I'll just look at the windows
