Amazing gig. Still knackered from singing and jumping. My balaclava ripped when I put it on for faster, damn it!

Highlights:

Revol
She is Suffering
Slash N Burn
Stay Beautiful
Found That Soul

Unexpected Delights:

Ocean Spray
Nixon
It's Not War
This Is The Day

Shockers:
So Why So Sad
Backing vocals to Slash N Burn
Some of the lagging videos in the first half

Verdict:
Bloody amazing gig!

we were the same. Taxi came to about £47 both ways (to and from the travel lodge), but we went back via the McDonalds drive through because we didn't have time to eat before the gig

I wanted all the t-shirts, but they had no black ones left in my size by the time I got to the merch stall. Seeing as I was quite near the front of the queue, I can only assume they had about ten of them in xl to begin with.
As for only selling the mugs after the gig, it's not health and safety, it's plain fucking stupidity. Like anyone is going to spend a tenner on a mug and then throw it inside the arena. I was very annoyed to find them sold out after the gig.

...or a hazard if someone drops one on the floor, same reason they don't give you glass. Surely not that hard to believe?

I think so. I saw wandering around Brighton a couple of weeks ago with a girl who looked 18 at the oldest.

Gutted that the video for Faster was so badly out of time. That would have looked so powerful and incredible otherwise.
And I think I saw a few new Patrick Jones videos slipped in there, which were shit.
But other than that, beautiful.

i wanted an XL of the black one for my cousin. They didnt seem to have much of anything really. I got there 6pm and two lads infront of me were buying the last two sweatshirts. As for the mugs agree it was stupidity but maybe they thought people might sue if they smashed them by accident and cut themselves? Hmm nah they just stoopid

In 20 years of seeing the Manics live that was up there with the best. Loved Revol, She Is Suffering, Faster and Love's Sweet Exile. Band were on great form and crowd was fantastic, apart from one or two nob-ends (specifically the speccy twat and his stubble-beard mate with the Noel Edmonds cardigan who barged their way in front of me during Masses and stood so close that my nose was touching the back of one of their heads, resulting in a brief altercation which ended when my missus decided to plonk herself right back in front of them to see how they liked it and they got the message and fucked off. Pair of twats looked like they should've been at a fucking Duran Duran gig. Anyway, that aside, twas a magic night but now I'm stuck at Gatwick Airport as flight back to Glasgow which was due to leave at 6 has been delayed till midnight. Easyjet twats.

Merchandise was open around just after 3pm. Think a lot of people bought stuff early. My mate bought an XL hoodie as soon as it opened and we met up with another mate at 5.30pm. He wanted a hoodie as well but no large or XL left.
