Ugh! For God's sake, wouldn't it have been easier just to let her hand the stuff over?

Ooh, I'll have a look!

ETA I'll look when I'm on the computer, it's not kind to an iPod!

50 seconds? are you kidding me? it was more like 20 seconds. Not worth the 4 hour wait.

What do people expect from a signing? You're never going to get to stop and chat, that's not the point of it. Also we queued for 2 hours at Manchester, but even that wasn't really necessary. You could probably have turned up about half an hour before and still got in. But Manics fans will be Manics fans

Well yeah, being able to queue has to be a trait in most Manics fans! To be fair, you're right, people did turn up half an hour before and got to see them within the hour! I guess it wouldn't have been so rushed if they did one large signing, doing three in a day was never a great idea.

As promised, here are a couple of images from the Birmingham Signing on Monday.

It was rather rushed, but here are a couple of the better images of mine. If you spot yourself in the crowd shots, let me know - it'd be nice to try and put faces to names! Enjoy…

There's me, you can just about see my head, it's directly above the strap of the guy who is wearing the hat. The guy just in front of me with the blonde hair is Archivesoftherevollover.

Thank God I was at the back of the queue!!! I noticed for a signing there were quite a few 'old' fans.

To be honest, I just noticed a load of casual fans that didn't really know any of the songs when they were being played in the store once we got inside! I didn't see many familiar faces at all, which was disappointing.

More pics from Manchester. You can see a bit of my head on #5. Nicky's signing my book 'To Relic'. Sean looks like he's reading it and thinking 'Oh, so THAT'S relic is it?'
