If they did arenas again, I think they should stop off at Leeds Arena. I haven't had chance to go since they started booking gigs ready for its opening later this year.

Hope they stick to medium sized places, loads of places are much bigger than Ritz.

I'd prefer smaller than arenas, but I did say IF I've no idea where they'll play obviously.

I know you did, I wasn't suggesting anything! Nicky said "much bigger", how you measure that I dunno, but he says a lot of things. I just hope they don't do GMEX again, that place is crap.

God the GMEX, that was just depressing, was it even a quarter full?

Well that made me feel a little hopeful! Argh gutted

I was planning on getting tickets to the Manchester gig for my partner as a wedding gift as we can't go on honeymoon now and stuffs! It's amazing how excited you can get over a gig and how down it can make you when you know you'll be missing out!

Now needing ideas of a new super cool gift for my partner to make him happy

Think that this September tour might be a two part show with album in entirety up first and then a rockier 2nd half???

It was definitely curtained off.. I went to see The Verve there a few weeks later and it was full. I just thought it was a crap gig venue. Looks nice from the outside, good for conferences and fine for sci-fi conventions and what not, but not so much for gigs.

I hope not. I'd love them to keep up the album's theme and keep the whole gig more acoustic, bringing back some old songs that fit and reinterpreting the usual setlist stables (with probably the exception being stuff like ADFL).

This was my other thought - but that would mean nicky (and less so) Sean having to practice and we know they hate that. Poor Jimbo would play different songs every night if it wasn't for Wire!!

Great news but I'm still gutted about missing out on Manchester.

Sean hates practicing? I'd say the opposite. He may get it in his head he hates a song and not want to play it but that doesn't mean he's lazy rehearsing
