maybe. I have Q in my local kind of HMV but it's month delayed and I'm not certain if they bring that particular cover with added vinyl. as I have a vinyl player I'd be happy to have it too.

talking about cold - today we had +32 degrees, finally a proper summer. (a bit off topic, I know and apologize)

Chapters (a big bookstore) will get Q probably a month behind, and at a pretty high markup.

We hit 30 on Sunday! Today is 27 or 28. Summer has finally arrived!

It's half-price Haribos in my local branch. HMV has gone the same way. You know capitalism has gone wrong when you walk into a music store and are more likely to come out with a packet of crisps and bottle of water.

Do you have to buy q to get the vinyl?
Yes. From either Q.com or from WH Smith's.

The The is a crap name but a great band. I'm looking forward to hearing James sing This Is The Day as Matt Johnson from The The had a very sexy voice so i wanna hear if James can out sexy him!

I don't know if this has been mentioned but i've just watched an interview on the Absolute web site with Nicky. He says that there will be something very special at the end of the year, a one off around Christmas and that they are having to rehearse all their songs again! Sounds very interseting...

Possibly a one-night-only run through of the singles?

Why would they need to rehearse them? Bar 1 or 2 like Nixon and LSE that's all they've played for the last decade

I think their definition of 'rehearsing all of their songs' differs quite considerably to most bands who do actually play most their back catalogue

Maybe they are going to do a whole album gig like the Phonics did last year.

they probably do rehearse all their songs and then find excuses not to play them

I doubt you'd get the vinyl in other countries. While they stock the magazine free cds are never included due to copyright issues so i doubt this vinyl will be.

That's what they always say, but the free CDs/cassettes/vinyl are almost always included with the magazines at the stores around my part of the US. It makes it hard if I just want to sit in Barnes and Nobles and read the mag without buying it. The CD/cassette/vinyl keeps trying to come off, and I keep trying to hold it on there!
For instance, I have a lot of the free things that were included with Select back in the 1990s, since I always bought that magazine.
And, I first heard the Manics on the tape that came with the 1994 year-end issue of VOX.
So, I totally expect to see the Manics vinyl with Q, but one month after you folks in the UK get it (since British mags always come here one issue later).

This.

Infinitely less exciting when I remember my least favourite songs from most of their albums are the singles. Everlasting full band will make it last even longer than the million years it lasts now. But at least we'll get Revol and Love's Sweet Exile, I suppose.
