Yes, it's definitely the new Severn Bridge.
As someone who lives in Cardiff and used to play in a Bristol based band, I know that Bridge (and it's fucking toll prices) all too well. http://richardbennett.info/images/br...BridgeM4-2.jpg ![]()

2 years to think of a new idea well spent. Can we have the 3 of them stood on a beach for the next one?

I have been there a few times (not in the bridge, crossing to Bristol) but didn't thought its design was very different from other bridges. By that picture definitely looks like the cover one!

So it's an acoustic album titled Rewind The Film with the Severn Bridge on the cover - rewind the film to those days back in the 80s when we still had no electricity in Wales?
But the cover looks good, I think they tried to make that railing look like a film. Without band name on it they really should invert the R. |

Quick question, so this the acoustic album then? Or the experimental one?

I think the entire era will see a mix of experimentation but yes, RTW, is supposably more tender. It's not going to sound like James does singing a song like "1404". There is a full effort from the band. I think album 2 will be more Manics than guest stars.

Cheers guys.
Having a song longer than 4 minutes is pretty experimental for them these days. Really looking forward to hearing Show Me The Wonder now. ![]() |

The fact three of the songs start with a number makes me think they were originally gonna be on 70 songs of Failure And Hatred, and that that album's song title would all have started with a number 1-70
