Ooh, that’s so mean. Always remember to be kind, Sean.
It's a pun I think? Spheres = balls.

Being ambiguous is Sean's way of being kind.

Even if it was a joke, good to see one of the Manics saying something slightly controversial. When was the last time Nicky had a good rant about something other than the state of his knees?

This isn't actual Manics on twitter, but it's about them on twitter. I'm such a Luddite that I can't work out what this actually is

https://twitter.com/Pyfbrown/status/1469733618218160136

but is anyone following it? Is there actually something to "tune into" or is he just going to post the songs, maybe with a youtube link or something?

I've no idea what he's talking about either but this looks like his blog

Or maybe it's this

Love it when people assume you know what they're talking about

Glad it's not just me! Anyway, looks like he is just tweeting the names of the songs, and then you just play them. Fun activity when I'm in self imposed lockdown in the hope that I don't get covid before my holidays anyway

For the past few months he's been getting fans to submit their Manics top fifty songs lists. He's now compiled those lists into one master list and counting down the top fifty, winner to be announced tonight!

Has all been good fun - deciding on what went in my top fifty was a pretty impossible task!

Well, it's from instagram:

"Now we are back home after our epic, beautiful and sometimes sad (as it's likely to be our last) North American tour-just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who came to the shows and for all your energy and kindness ♥️and also to the MAGNIFICENT @suedehq what a band and what lovely people- been our pleasure to tour with you again after all these years"

I hope it's reading too much into the message to think that this is the beginning of the end for the band and the first goodbye...

Nah, Nicky says this sort of stuff all the time. They'll rock until they drop.

He's been a bit more maudlin these past few years which is fair enough given everything. Hope he finds his mojo, and funnel his energy into something fulfilling. I do get the feeling he's struggling to engage with making music and being in a professional band. James seems to have really stepped up on the promo work with TUVL and I wonder about the reasons why. Just hope the kinks are worked out whatever they are.
