I have to say that I enjoyed all of them, also many others missing there.
I pre-ordered the deluxe CD and I want to buy the vinyl too, but don't want the itunes download just for a few songs. Maybe those will be appearing as b-sides in singles?

If they really wanted to be shits about it, they'd do the remaining tracks spread across multiple singles (and CD1 and CD2s thereof), with the final tracks appearing on a Japanese album, A Vinyl and a cassette.

And if you think I'm making this up then you only need to look at the last couple of album releases

Do a lot of you REALLY have moral qualms against stealing five live iTunes only bonus tracks if you've already bought the Deluxe CD and maybe the vinyl too?

Come on, don't act hard done by that you "have" to buy a digital version as well. Fuck the record companies for doing shit like this.

I will be stealing the iTunes bonus tracks, guilt-free. (I've already pre-ordered the signed Deluxe CD and will buy the vinyl too.)

Same. And I will be going to at least one gig (though not buying any badge-tat, mug-tat or bag-tat while I'm there, thank you)

I'm glad they've decided not to do a shoebox edition this time around.

No, just spread the cost of one across multiple formats ;-)

They do 90-second clips on iTunes (not yet before anyone rushes to iTunes). If you listen to 90 seconds of ADFL, Empty Souls and It's Not War, you've basically listened to the whole song anyway so it's all good.

When I had that 20% discount months ago, I finally got around to buying the deluxe National Treasures. Still not had it.

It's a tenner on Amazon too. Which is annoying.

I'm going to go ahead and bet that the rest of the National Treasures gig will be bonus tracks on the various editions of the other album.

And bonus tracks for the singles.

Anyway, so little thought went into it that they put ADFL first on iTunes set. That's poor sequencing.

If they're doing singles in that fashion any more. I guess we'll know soon enough...

Journalist on twitter with the promo

@justplayed: @justplayed: 'Show Me The Wonder' is a cracking bit of upbeat Manics indie-pop in line with their cover of Out Of Time.

@justplayed: Massive chorus with too many words making it hard to sing along to. Very Manics.

@justplayed:initial impression:[on 4 Lonely Roads] Lovely melody, processional drum beat, Nicky on backing vocals. Great hazy breakdown section.

@justplayed: There is a lovely musical nod to 'God Only Knows ' on 'Builder Of Routines' on the new Manics album.

Sounds really promising!
