I hope I didn't scare you guys too much! I did bound over like an excited labrador! In my spotty dress, perhaps dalmation would be a better description.

It was Indian Summer which had a more major technical glitch. I lol'd.

Luckily we managed to move in front of them all and rather hilariously got called queue jumpers by the very people who had just pushed in! One of them just would not shut up about 5 minutes before doors were about to open and rather dramatically declared she'd rather not go to the gig at all if she didn't get the barrier in front of Nicky. She was threatening to punch people, called a gig regular a bitch for no reason other than that person wanted to get back to their place in the queue and said she was going to write to the CEO of O2 if they didn't let the first line of people in first. I couldn't even be bothered to argue with her, because it was too fucking funny. She might have had more of a valid point if she hadn't contributed to the queue jumping herself.
I'm sure I know exactly who you're talking about there. What an idiothole. Seriously ridiculous. Fran and I feel a bit bad for being so silly in the queue where you were right next to us and so bore the brunt of our silliness, so sorry about that.

I'd totally forgotten but as I was walking out of the queueing area for food, one security guard looked me up and down, the other one looked at him and said, 'we'll have to keep an eye'. Yep, I store knives and crack in my bear paws.

You're FD famous! It's the best kind of fame!

Also, you were on the TELLY with the band. You're practically one of them now.

I've been reading all about the queuing nightmare Sounds horrible. And I really hated that fact that I couldn't visit the queue as I didn't have the right ticket. Also, it looked as if you were caged in with all that wire fencing. I can't imagine what security thought you were all going to do...

Yep, it really was all incredibly stupid. Ah don't be daft! I was singing Christmas songs to begin with so I can't talk, although then got distracted by aforementioned queue jumpers and made it my mission to get passed them

Maybe it's a paranoid London thing or something, because I swear venues elsewhere just aren't this bad when it comes to staff. I went to see Duran Duran at Sheffield Arena last Wednesday and the woman who helped us find our seats couldn't have been lovelier. Guess it's luck of the draw who you encounter though.

It took us a while to realise why people were stood by those barriers just staring at the standing queue by entrance F. I thought they were all just really fascinated by us all at first, but nope, it was because they weren't allowed in the area without a standing ticket and were probably trying to find people they knew

We had problems when they first let us into the venue, because several of my friends didn't actually have their tickets on them - thankfully security saw reason in the end.

I still haven't recovered enough to express my feelings about the gig in actual words.

If you look about 15 secs into this, I'm pretty sure that's Mitch Ikeda taking photos from the side, yeah?
Go on. Release a double live album, accompanied by Mitch photos.

Yep he was there, he was down by the front of the stage with a hand-held video camera panning along the front row during Kevin Carter. I was doing my best to ignore it and concentrate on James instead of the camera pointing directly at my face

I actually recognised your mum first as I saw her first, I was like, isn't that Lizzie's mum? Then I saw you. I recognised you from your twitter avatar.
